Managing Consultant, Commercial Disputes
About the role
BRG’s Economics, Disputes & Investigations (EDI) practice is currently looking for an experienced manager that can lead cases, provide strategic guidance, develop analytical frameworks, and help develop staff.
Responsibilities
- Address real-world applied economics questions, including in the areas of intellectual property, and financial analysis.
- Lead engagement work streams that may be either quantitative or qualitative in nature.
- Design economic, statistical, and financial analysis.
- Model financial data and markets.
- Manage existing client relationships.
- Develop and present client deliverables.
- Manage junior staff.
- Ensure quality control.
- Conduct industry research.
- Expand business.
Requirements
- A Master’s degree with an academic focus on quantitative research (Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or another quantitative discipline).
- Minimum six (6+) years of experience in an advisory firm managing commercial disputes.
- Demonstrated understanding of, and ability to explain, economic, financial and/or accounting concepts, and quantitative and qualitative analysis methods.
- Minimum six (6+) years of experience in intellectual property, competition economics litigation matters.
- Experience working with large data sets in Excel and/or statistical analysis programs (e.g SAS, Stata, R, etc.).

- Highly motivated problem solver with robust analytical ability, strong organizational skills, and a desire to work with leading experts in the field.
- Desire to work within a team environment.
- Clear and demonstrated interest in consulting with the broader vision of generating business and becoming known in the marketplace as an Expert in your field.

Pay
Salary Range: $110,000 to $230,000 per year.
Schedule
This is a hybrid position working out of our NYC or Chicago offices a few times a week.
