About the role
We're looking for an experienced web production and operations leader to manage the operational and technical foundation of our marketing website. You've seen best-in-class B2B SaaS web infrastructure up close, and you know how to bring order, structure, and momentum to a fast-moving web organization.
Responsibilities
- Own the Web Foundation and Operations
- Manage the technical and operational foundation of the marketing website: CMS architecture, deployment workflows, performance monitoring, integrations, documentation, and governance.
- Audit what exists today, flag technical debt, operational risk, or inefficiency, and build toward a scalable, maintainable system that supports long-term growth.
- Establish scalable processes for intake, prioritization, documentation, QA, deployment, and maintenance.
- Partner closely with marketing, product, and engineering to flag risks early and represent the web team's perspective in planning conversations.
- Manage & Support a Team of Web Developers
- Lead and support a team of web developers. Advocate for the team's needs, protect their time, prioritize their queue, remove blockers, and create an environment where developers can do their best work.
- Bring operational maturity and strong prioritization discipline to help the team balance speed, quality, maintainability, and business impact.
- Help create a calmer, more sustainable operating environment through strong communication and organization.
- Drive Scalable Tooling & AI Adoption
- Identify and implement AI-assisted workflows, automation opportunities, and modern tooling that improve developer efficiency and reduce manual overhead.
- Help the team work smarter as website complexity, content volume, experimentation, and localization needs continue to scale.
- Vendor & Agency Management
- Assess and rationalize existing vendor and agency relationships. Create documentation and transition plans where institutional knowledge currently exists outside the organization.
- Establish clearer ownership boundaries, documentation standards, and operational processes that improve long-term maintainability.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in web production, web operations, or a related technical leadership role, ideally in B2B SaaS.
- Deep familiarity with modern web infrastructure, CMS platforms, deployment workflows, performance tooling, and front-end development operations.
- Strong understanding of developer experience and engineering best practices — you know what good looks like and can articulate why.
- Proven experience managing or leading a web development team.
- Experience operating high-traffic or highly cross-functional marketing websites.
- Strong communicator who can advocate for technical decisions with non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience creating scalable operational processes, documentation standards, and ownership models.
- Comfortable making difficult tradeoff decisions and bringing clarity to complex environments.
- Experience with AI-assisted development tooling and automation workflows.
Qualifications
- Tools: Google Analytics, HubSpot, GTM (plus familiarity with reporting and analytics).
Skills
- AI Literacy and Workflow Integration
- Hands-on Experience with AI Tools
- Effective Prompt Writing
