Job Overview
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and motivate front of house staff, including servers, hosts, and bartenders.
- Maintain a positive and productive work environment, fostering teamwork and collaboration.
- Foster positive guest relationships by anticipating needs, providing recommendations, and addressing inquiries with a commitment to the brand.
- Oversee service quality, ensuring timely, efficient, and friendly service.
- Monitor the dining area to ensure cleanliness, comfort, and a pleasant atmosphere.
- Assist with daily cash handling, including opening and closing the register.
- Aid in labor cost control, optimizing staffing levels to meet demand.
- Monitor tipping procedures and ensure proper distribution.
- Manage seating arrangements and reservation systems, ensuring efficient flow of guests.
- Maintain restaurant inventory, including supplies and equipment for the front of house.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food safety standards.
- Act as a liaison between the front and back of house to ensure smooth operations.
- Attend regular staff meetings and provide feedback to improve service standards.
- Assist in creating and implementing promotional activities, events, and marketing strategies.
- Develop and maintain work schedules for front of house staff, ensuring proper coverage during peak hours.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including maintaining TIPS and ServSafe certifications.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a front of house leadership role preferred (restaurant, hospitality, or similar).
- Strong understanding of food and beverage operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Basic understanding of financials, including budget and labor cost management.
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.

Pay Range
$60,000 - $65,000 per year
