Our Opportunity

We are seeking a Managing Engineer for our Vehicle Engineering Practice in Seattle, WA. This role involves analyzing vehicle incidents and providing detailed solutions to clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects from initiation to completion
• Conduct field investigations and perform technical analysis
• Communicate project updates internally and externally
• Seek out new business opportunities
• Perform original research to advance knowledge in vehicle safety and technology
• Develop specialized expertise in automotive fields
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations
• Support and testify on consulting projects
• Manage and develop client relationships

Qualifications

• M.S. or Ph.D. in Engineering, preferably in mechanics and dynamics
• 8+ years of full-time work experience in the transportation industry or relevant technical consulting
• Professional Engineering license or willingness to obtain one
• Extensive problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong leadership and teamwork skills
• Ability to generate and manage business
• Deep knowledge of dynamics and mechanics
• Field and/or lab measurement experience
• Experience with 3D CAD software
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly
• Versatile and team-oriented
