Position Summary

The Manager, Travel & Expense will own and manage Roivant’s end-to-end T&E program, ensuring policy compliance, operational efficiency, and an excellent employee experience. This role is the internal subject matter expert for T&E — driving travel program strategy, managing vendor and TMC partnerships, and championing the traveler experience across Roivant and its Vants. The Manager partners cross-functionally with Accounting, Finance, HR, and Vant teams to align T&E processes with business needs, while coordinating with IT and external partners on Concur platform administration.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the business owner and governance lead for the Concur expense platform, defining requirements, workflows, and policies while collaborating with technical teams on user administration platform configuration and maintenance
  • Oversee the corporate card program, including policy design, program optimization, and relationship management with card providers; coordinate with Procurement and Accounting on reporting and compliance monitoring
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce T&E policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with company guidelines and applicable regulations
  • Own the traveler experience end-to-end: gather and act on employee feedback, identify friction points in the travel and expense lifecycle, and continuously improve the service model for travelers and executive assistants
  • Partner with Accounting, Finance, HR, Legal, and Vant teams to ensure T&E processes support business activity and close requirements
  • Design and maintain the expense report audit framework, leveraging automation tools (e.g., IntelligentAudit) to shift from manual review to exception-based oversight; identify compliance trends and areas of risk
  • Lead T&E-related vendor relationships, including negotiating contracts, managing SLAs, and driving program value through preferred supplier arrangements
  • Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to increase efficiency and scalability of the T&E function
  • Prepare and present T&E spend reporting and analytics to Finance and senior leadership, identifying trends and cost-saving opportunities
  • Drive strategic planning for the T&E pillar, including travel program benchmarking and multi-Vant scalability

Skills, Qualifications, and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Travel Management, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in travel program management, T&E operations, corporate travel, or a related function
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills; ability to influence without direct authority and navigate complex stakeholder relationships
  • Working knowledge of Concur or similar T&E platforms; ability to define business requirements and oversee configuration performed by IT or a TMC partner
  • Experience managing a corporate card program; Mastercard preferred
  • Strong knowledge of T&E policies, internal controls, and compliance best practices
  • Demonstrated ability to lead projects and drive process improvements with minimal oversight
