Responsibilities

• Assure compliance with safety standards and organizational objectives dictated by management.
• Manage the transportation budget and ensure proper utilization of funds.
• Oversee databases detailing transport activities, financial accountings, employee schedules, and personnel records.
• Screen, hire, train, and evaluate staff; recommend or initiate promotions, transfers, and disciplinary actions.
• Train staff on department policies, procedures, and updates on new laws or technological advances.
• Serve as a point of contact for customers, building relationships and addressing complaints.
• Allocate driver assignments.
• Manage insurance claims and transport damages.
• Coordinate all warranty claims.
• Utilize data-driven reporting of KPIs.

Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
