Manager Trainee

About the role

The role involves leading shifts and managing departments in a McDonald's restaurant operated by an independent franchisee. The franchisee is a separate entity from McDonald’s USA, and the responsibilities include hiring, firing, discipline, supervision, staffing, and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers receive a fast, accurate, and friendly experience every visit.
• Manage assigned Systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management.
• Set goals, delegate tasks, follow up, and report results to teams and other managers.
• Lead the Guest Service Department Manager to ensure great customer experiences, sales promotions, staff training, and area organization.
• Lead the Kitchen Department Manager to ensure high-quality food delivery, food safety, cost control, and staff training.
• Lead the People Department Manager to ensure qualified crew hiring, training, and scheduling to meet sales and profit goals.
• Maintain a positive work environment and motivate employees.

Requirements

• Previous managerial experience, preferably in a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment.
• Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule and willingness to have fun.
• Age 18 or older to work as a manager in a corporate-owned McDonald's restaurant.
