Manager Trainee

A Day in the Life

Hertz Local Edition (HLE) supports flexible, local rental solutions for a broad customer base outside of airport hubs. As a Manager Trainee, you will support location performance, develop leadership skills, and prepare for promotion to Branch Manager within 12-18 months.

What You’ll Do

• Sales & Customer Service: Support achieving location sales goals and deliver excellent customer experience to maintain high service scores.
• Sales Techniques & CRM: Learn and apply sales techniques and CRM best practices.
• Operations & Fleet Management: Gain hands-on experience in fleet logistics and inventory control, assist with store operations, and manage facilities.
• Vehicle & Facility Care: Support team with tasks such as cleaning vehicles, lot management, and customer service assistance.
• Finance & Administration: Learn finance processes, support deal completion, understand reporting, and document business metrics.
• Leadership Development: Shadow and support management in daily operations, build skills in team leadership, scheduling, and performance coaching, and prepare for future leadership roles.

What We’re Looking For

• Must be 20 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong computer and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to grow.
• Exceptional time management skills.
• Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Presentable attire.
• Experience working in a professional environment.
