Manager Trainee

Hertz Local Edition (HLE) delivers flexible, local rental solutions outside of airport hubs. Our team is built on leadership, service, and operational excellence. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to learn all aspects of our business, preparing for promotion to Branch Manager in as little as 12–18 months.

Responsibilities

• Support achievement of location sales goals and deliver excellent customer experience
• Learn and apply sales techniques and CRM best practices
• Gain hands-on experience in fleet logistics and inventory control
• Assist with store operations and compliance
• Support vehicle and facility care, including cleaning and preparing vehicles, lot management, and customer service assistance
• Learn finance processes and support deal completion
• Understand reporting, documentation, and business metrics
• Shadow and support management in daily operations
• Build skills in team leadership, scheduling, and performance coaching
• Prepare for future leadership roles through structured training
• Learn how the role contributes to the overall financial wellbeing of the company

Requirements

• Must be 20 years of age or older
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong computer and multitasking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Self-motivated, adaptable, and eager to grow
• Exceptional time management skills
• Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Presentable attire
• Experience working in a professional environment

Pay

$38,480.00 per year or $18.50 per hour
