Job Title: Manager, Technical Services Compensation: $120,000 to $140,000 Location: Arizona, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Carolina, New Jersey, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, and Wisconsin. Adswerve is currently seeking a Data Engineering Manager to join the Technical Services team. The ideal candidate for this key team management position will possess a natural tendency toward analytical thinking, combined with strong client-facing consultative communication, presentation, training and coaching skills. They will be naturally curious about data purity, big data analysis, machine learning, and product development, and have demonstrated strengths in data engineering. In addition, this candidate will have a desire to mentor and encourage growth in others. The role of the Data Engineering Manager focuses on mentoring, developing, and coaching implementation engineers and experienced data engineers and data scientists. Responsibilities Manage a global team of Data Engineers and Scientists, providing mentorship, performance reviews, and career pathingPromote a culture of "Technical Evangelism," coaching team members to synthesize complex technical architectures into high-level business strategies for executive stakeholdersFoster cross-functional synergy with Sales and Account Management to bridge technical knowledge gaps and identify strategic upsell and cross-sell opportunitiesOwn resource allocation for a diverse portfolio of projects, ensuring the right talent is matched to high-impact initiativesDevelop and refine internal efficiencies and offerings to reduce manual effortMonitor team capacity vs. pipeline to support the department’s year-over-year growth targetAudit existing project delivery processes to identify opportunities for automation and the application of R&D-led innovationGuides the team to implement best practices in solution development and client relationships Clearly defines performance expectations and ensure accountability and provide ongoing informal feedback, coaching and mentoringDevelops and fosters supportive working relationships, motivation and engagement Prioritize direct report workload based on customer and business priorities Oversee work completed by team from a high level to ensure timely delivery and quality of work Other duties as assigned Experience 5+ years in professional services or technical consulting, with at least 1–3 years in a leadership or management capacityCollege degree, preferably in Technical Management - OR - equivalent leadership experienceProven success in coaching and mentoring experienced technical resourcesExceptional ability to communicate with both executive-level stakeholders and technical individual contributorsStrong interpersonal and presentation skillsAbility to work on a team and prioritize individual workload This position pays a base salary of $120,000 to $140,000 per year.
