Manager Technical SEO Streaming

Client: Leading Entertainment Provider Title: Sr. Manager, Technical SEO, Streaming Duration: 09 Months (Extension/Conversion will be based on performance) Work Schedule: Location: 3 Locations - All 100% Onsite, 5 days/week West Hollywood, CA 90069 (WEho) Los Angeles, CA 90038 (Burbank) New York, NY 10036 Pay Range: ($90-$95) on an hourly basis About: We are seeking a Senior Manager, Technical SEO to lead technical SEO initiatives across large-scale streaming and digital properties. This role will partner closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Analytics, and QA teams to ensure SEO and AI Discovery best practices are built into product development, releases, and ongoing site operations. Qualifications: 5-8+ years of SEO experience with a strong focus on Technical SEO. Experience managing SEO for large-scale, enterprise, international, or multi-market websites. Strong knowledge of JavaScript SEO, crawling, rendering, indexing, and site architecture. Hands-on experience with tools such as Screaming Frog, Botify, Search Console, Semrush, or Ahrefs. Experience with international SEO and hreflang. Experience working with Product, Engineering, and QA teams in Agile environments. Strong Jira/Confluence and technical documentation experience. Experience with SEO audits, release QA, regression testing, and technical issue resolution. Strong analytical skills with Excel/G Sheets, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP, formulas, and large datasets. Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills Responsibilities: Own technical SEO across domestic and international web properties. Partner with Product and Engineering teams to integrate SEO requirements into roadmaps, development, and releases. Drive crawlability, rendering, indexing, site architecture, structured data, redirects, canonicalization, and XML sitemap initiatives. Lead technical SEO audits, crawl monitoring, issue identification, and resolution. Support JavaScript SEO, including SSR, client-side rendering, hydration, and modern JavaScript frameworks. Manage international SEO initiatives, including hreflang, localization, and regional site architecture. Create technical requirements, Jira tickets, Confluence documentation, QA checklists, and implementation guidelines. Support release QA, regression testing, and post-launch SEO monitoring. Analyze crawl data, server logs, search performance, and indexation signals to identify opportunities and risks. Ensure websites are accessible to search engines, AI crawlers, LLMs, and emerging AI discovery platforms. Stay current with developments in technical SEO, AI search, generative search, and agentic discovery. Preferred: Experience with streaming, media, publishing, or other high-traffic digital platforms. Knowledge of AI Search, LLM crawlers, AI agents, and generative answer engines. Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms. Python, APIs, or SEO automation experience.
