Responsibilities
- Recruiting, screening, interviewing, and vetting candidates.
- Building and maintaining robust pipelines of specialized legal and legal-tech professionals.
- Identifying fresh talent in the legal market, including passive candidates, with a focus on emerging legal, technology, and legal-tech skill sets.
- Networking in the legal and legal-tech communities to expand high-quality candidate rosters.
- Assisting the Client Solutions team in fulfilling client orders and associated requirements.
- Interacting with executives in corporate legal departments and law firms to understand opportunities, specific needs, and present viable candidates.
- Supporting the New Business and Client Solutions teams to ensure clients receive high-level service and quality on assignments.
- Maintaining active relationships with candidates on and off assignment.
- Matching existing roster and prospective candidates to client requirements.
- Presenting candidates to Client Solutions and New Business teams.
- Preparing candidates for client interviews.
- Engaging administrative team to ensure employment or client and Consilio-required paperwork is completed prior to assignment.
- Maintaining an active relationship with candidates on and off assignment.
- Verifying all activities are documented in Candidate ATS (Bullhorn).
- Professionally developing working candidates, including regular call and email check-ins.
- Participating in both in-person and virtual legal, tech, and legal-tech networking opportunities.
- Adhering to Consilio’s True North Values and Consilio’s Handbook.
- Managing and prioritizing deliverables with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree with Juris Doctor (J.D.) highly preferred.
- 3-5 years of legal experience, whether with a large firm, in-house, and/or as a consultant in the legal services industry.
- Prior legal recruiting experience highly preferred; experience souring talent for technology or legal-tech roles is a plus.
- Ability to assess talent, manage multiple priorities with attention to detail, strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Previous recruiting experience and Bullhorn or other similar ATS.
