The Role

The Hiring Event Manager is responsible for planning and executing hiring events across the U.S., ensuring alignment with the client’s talent acquisition strategy and expected outcomes. This role drives service excellence through operational execution, continuous improvement, and change initiatives that enhance the candidate and hiring team experience. Acting as a trusted partner, the manager builds strong relationships with senior and executive business leaders, HR business partners, and talent acquisition teams to support customer advocacy.

This is a hybrid role working 3-4 days onsite at the client’s office in Atlanta, Georgia.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Establish and sustain trusted partnerships with senior business leaders, talent acquisition, and HR stakeholders to align recruitment strategies with business objectives.
  • Lead Strategic Projects: Deliver client-specified initiatives such as demand planning and forecasting, process mapping, DEI programs, hiring manager capability development, and assessment center facilitation.
  • Communicate Insights and Strategy: Provide regular, insight-driven updates to stakeholders, including quarterly reviews, market trends, and service performance to influence talent strategy and operational decisions.
  • Manage Demand Planning: Collaborate with senior stakeholders to understand hiring demand, share data-led insights, and ensure alignment with live hiring requirements.
  • Ensure Delivery of Hiring Goals: Oversee fulfillment of demand plans for assigned business units, providing progress updates and addressing factors impacting delivery.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to processes, technology, and services, maintaining a two-way communication channel for upgrades and innovations.
  • Resolve Escalations: Act as the primary conduit for first-line escalations, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of client issues.
  • Develop and Coach Team Members: Provide ongoing feedback, coaching, and development conversations to build team capability and support growth.
  • Optimize Resources and Performance: Strategically allocate resources, monitor KPIs, analyze trends, and adjust strategies to meet hiring targets and SLAs while maintaining compliance and governance standards.
  • Promote Employer Brand: Champion the client’s Employee Value Proposition (EVP) to strengthen market positioning and enhance candidate experience.
  • Identify Growth Opportunities: Flag potential business development opportunities or service scope enhancements to senior leadership.

Why AMS?

We are committed to pay transparency and fairness. For this role, the initial expected remuneration is $98, 345 USD to $141,600 USD plus applicable benefits.
