About the Role
This Talent Acquisition Manager will manage full-cycle recruitment efforts for all offices and teams, with a primary focus on brand marketing roles in the creative, experiential, digital agency, analytics, hospitality, and traditional brand marketing spaces. The role is based in Excel’s New York offices.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with hiring managers to devise and execute recruitment strategies.
- Conduct initial intake calls with hiring managers to facilitate necessary paperwork, including job descriptions and justifications for management approval.
- Route all role requests through the proper approval process.
- Post jobs in the applicant tracking system (ATS), including job boards, LinkedIn, and the Excel website.
- Share open roles with diversity and inclusion-focused partners and networks.
- Prepare weekly recruiting trackers for distribution to Partners, HR, Finance, and Legal.
- Review resumes, screen candidates, coordinate interviews with hiring managers, and collect feedback.
- Maintain candidate communication throughout the interview process to ensure a positive and engaging experience.
- Utilize professional networks, industry contacts, and other tools to source top talent.
- Manage salary negotiations and benefit discussions with finalists, and create offer paperwork.
- Conduct reference and background checks.
- Maintain strong relationships with candidates and employee referrals to build a pipeline of qualified professionals.
- Contribute to Excel’s overall talent strategy, including brand promotion, strategic planning, and content creation across social/recruiting channels (e.g., Excel website, LinkedIn, ATS).
- Serve as a brand ambassador, sharing enthusiasm for Excel.
- Participate in recruitment events, career fairs, and represent Excel within the industry and community.
- Prepare recruitment and new hire analytic reports, track talent acquisition metrics, review trends, and provide insights.
- Monitor program effectiveness and make adjustments as needed.
- Design and implement innovative outreach programs using diversity and inclusion best practices.
- Create and provide training on best interview practices for hiring managers and teams.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
- Experience working with creative, strategy, digital, and production teams within an agency or brand-side environment preferred.
- Previous use of an ATS system preferred.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $95,000–$100,000 per year.

This position is eligible for benefits and a discretionary bonus.
