About the Role

The Nurse Manager oversees a clinical unit, ensuring a safe, efficient, and patient-centered environment. They collaborate with staff, physicians, and leadership to promote high-quality care, staff development, and patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Supervise nursing and ancillary personnel.
• Schedule and coordinate daily activities within the unit.
• Implement unit goals and monitor outcomes.
• Build and maintain a skilled nursing team.
• Establish and uphold standards of care.
• Conduct patient rounds and address clinical concerns.
• Manage staffing needs and ensure adequate coverage.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Facilitate effective communication among staff, physicians, and leadership.
• Address operational issues and promote a culture of safety and excellence.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Master’s preferred).
• Active RN licensure.
• Leadership or supervisory experience in a clinical setting.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPR/BLS certification.
