Manager, Supply Planning, SIOP

About the role

This position is for a Manager, Supply Planning, SIOP professional with significant experience who owns and develops elements of function strategies and operational goals for the supply and demand planning process with short to medium-term impact on the organization. Responsible for improving existing processes and systems using significant conceptualizing, reasoning, and interpretation. Collaborates with internal and external management to develop financial forecasts.

Responsibilities

• Leads in the development of strategies for supply planning within the Commercial SIOP team.
• Performs scenario planning and rough-cut capacity analysis to support supply and demand shifts, new product introductions, and product lifecycle transitions.
• Lead proactive identification and resolution of long-range supply chain risks including labor, material, and equipment constraints.
• Spearheads the development of standardized processes within materials planning and SIOP to optimize the utilization of business resources and meet customer expectations for delivery.
• Analyzes identified supply streams and leads in the establishment of data relationship linkages.
• Collaborates with product development leaders and sales and marketing team leaders to develop demand forecasts.
