About the role

We are seeking a skilled Manager of Supply Chain & Procurement to lead strategic sourcing, supplier management, contract negotiations, and compliance with company policies and regulations. This role works closely with internal stakeholders to understand business needs, align procurement goals, and support operational and financial objectives. The Manager will build strong supplier relationships, negotiate competitive terms, ensure performance meets quality, cost, and delivery standards, and analyze procurement data and market trends to identify cost-saving and process-improvement opportunities.

This role will be working 3 days onsite at our Cranberry Township location.

Responsibilities

  • Develops, implements, and continuously improves functions or assigned functions of supply chain.
  • Develop forecasting, inventory management, and supplier capacity management to ensure optimum and cost-effective product availability.
  • Assures that departmental and support personnel are focused on continuous improvement of products and processes.
  • Maintains records and data essential to material programs including materials resource planning.
  • Promotes alignment by understanding and communicating customer needs and requirements throughout the organization.
  • Participates in supplier and vendor negotiations.
  • Reports on metrics that drive value for the business.
  • Executes the strategic plan for supply chain, including supplier management, internal & external collaborative relationships, and cost structure.
  • Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of employee(s) to ensure goals or objectives are accomplished.
  • Mentors, coaches, trains, and develops team of individual contributors.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
  • 8+ years progressive supply chain or logistics experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years in a leadership role (direct or indirect).
  • Periodic travel is required, including the potential for international travel.

Skills

  • Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), and planning skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, and reasoning).
  • Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts.
  • Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as internal and external clients.

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk, or hear.
  • Regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
