Position Summary
The Manager, Supply Chain Management, leads the strategic oversight and continuous improvement of supply chain operations to ensure efficiency and reliability. This role involves managing supplier relationships, optimizing processes, and utilizing data analysis to drive performance and innovation.

Manage supplier relationships to maintain quality standards and timely delivery.
Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvements.
Develop and implement strategies for supply chain optimization and performance enhancement.
Oversee compliance with ethical standards and conduct regular audits.
Drive root cause analysis to resolve operational issues and prevent recurrence.
Monitor business metrics to support informed decision-making and continuous innovation.
Provide leadership and performance management to foster a high-functioning team environment.
About the team
The Global Logistics Operational Payment Team manages and optimizes transportation-related payments within Walmart’s Global Logistics network. They handle invoice processing, automation, and exception management for various transportation charges, ensuring accurate and timely payments. They collaborate with operational teams to reduce detention expenses and improve processes. Their responsibilities include onboarding carriers, enabling EDI, vendor setup, and monitoring carrier compliance with safety and insurance standards. They provide insights into transportation spending and carrier performance to support Walmart’s focus on operational excellence and cost-effective supply chain management.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field and 2 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area OR
4 years’ experience in logistics, distribution, transportation, or related area.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Fleet management, dispatch, or network analysis.
- Masters: Business, Masters: Logistics, Masters: Supply Chain.
- Six Sigma - Certification.

The annual salary range for this position is $70,000.00 - $130,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include: Stock.
