Manager, Student Leadership Operations

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with the Senior Director and the Student Leadership & Engagement team to implement scalable programs, including the Hillel Leadership Institute, Student Leadership Passport, HillelU for Students, and student convenings.
  • Career Development
    • Coordinate cross-functional teams (e.g., grants, marketing, technology, evaluation) to ensure high-quality, student-facing experiences from ideation to execution.
    • Support and help manage timelines, budgets, logistics, vendor relationships, and communications for in-person and virtual programs.
    • Drive process improvements and systems that enable scale, quality control, and continuous learning.

Data, Evaluation & Strategy

  • Maintain programmatic trackers, monitor key performance indicators, and synthesize program data to support reporting, answer organizational data requests, and evaluate the success and impact of student programs.
  • Awarding
    • Assist with data collection, reporting, and analysis in partnership with Hillel’s Strategy & Measurement team.
    • Contribute to insights and recommendations that shape future program design and strategic decision-making.

Operational Support & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Serve as a point person for operational, administrative, and technical support needs across the leadership portfolio.
  • Coordinate with Hillel field professionals and external partners to support program implementation, communications, and logistics.
  • Identify operational challenges and recommend process improvements to strengthen program delivery and participant experience.

What You've Accomplished

  • A Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of relevant experience, ideally in student affairs, program operations, nonprofit management, or a related field.
  • Bonus if you’ve worked on student leadership or Jewish life initiatives, or if you’ve helped manage high-quality programs at scale.

  • An eye for quality and consistency, balanced with a growth mindset and flexibility in the face of ambiguity.
  • A sense of ownership over your work and joy in supporting the broader success of a mission-driven team.
