The MANAGER, SOURCING & PROCUREMENT is responsible for leading strategic sourcing and procurement initiatives within the nutritional products business. This role drives key projects involving contract manufacturing, ingredients, packaging, supplier onboarding, competitive bidding, and cost management. The position ensures supplier relationships and procurement processes align with organizational goals, supporting scalability and operational efficiency. This role plays a critical part in managing procurement functions and advancing strategic initiatives as the organization grows.

Responsibilities

• Lead RFQs, RFPs, competitive bidding, and supplier selection across contract manufacturing, ingredients, packaging, and other categories
• Develop sourcing strategies, evaluate suppliers, and negotiate commercial terms
• Drive cost savings and maintain product quality, supply continuity, and scalability
• Manage transition to turnkey manufacturing, including contract manufacturer relationships and onboarding
• Identify and qualify alternative ingredients and packaging without compromising quality
• Lead supplier-side execution for new product launches, reformulations, and packaging changes
• Oversee day-to-day procurement execution in NetSuite, including purchase orders, invoice processing, and inventory transfers
• Establish purchasing processes, supplier expectations, and operating rhythms
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
• Manage multiple sourcing and procurement projects independently

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, or supplier management
• Experience in nutritional supplements, vitamins, minerals, nutraceuticals, or relevant consumer products preferred
• Hands-on experience with RFQs/RFPs, supplier negotiations, and cost-reduction initiatives
• Experience managing contract manufacturers and outsourced manufacturing relationships
• Experience sourcing ingredients and packaging components preferred
• Prior management or team lead experience preferred
• Strong understanding of manufacturing economics, cost structures, supplier pricing, and total landed cost
