Manager, Software Engineering - Billing

About the role

Billing is a full stack engineering group at Figma, responsible for automating revenue workflows and building end-to-end payment and billing capabilities for all of Figma’s customers. This role is part of Figma’s mission to scale the business while maintaining the quality and craftsmanship that users love.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product and Design to build and execute a long-term roadmap that delivers a world-class user experience
• Work closely with cross-functional partners and engineering teams to creatively solve complex problems
• Hire, manage, support, and develop a team of engineers, including staff level engineers
• Establish trust within and across teams by creating accountability and a positive work environment in partnership with other organizational leaders

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience hiring and leading teams as an engineering manager
• Ability to think strategically about engineering and product roadmaps, on both short and longer term time horizons
• Demonstrates rigorous thinking and effective decision-making in cross-functional environments
• Experience with billing, SaaS monetization and/or payments infrastructure

Pay

The annual base salary range for this role is $258,000 - $376,000 USD. Actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location.

Schedule

This role can be held from one of Figma’s US hubs or remotely in the United States.
