Manager, Software Engineering - AI Assistant

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high-performing engineering team of 5-6 members
• Drive delivery of AI capabilities, ensuring quality and scalability
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to translate customer needs into software solutions
• Manage planning and execution of projects while adapting to user feedback and AI developments
• Communicate project progress and risks to stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams
• Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to empower engineers
• Foster a culture of continuous learning, problem-solving, and transparency within the team

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience accepted
• 7+ years of software engineering experience
• 2+ years of experience leading engineering teams, including software and test engineers
• Familiarity with modern AI technologies including large language models and agentic systems
• Experience building enterprise-scale, customer-facing software products
• Strong understanding of modern practices in software development
• Prowess in managing teams amid uncertainty while maintaining execution quality

Pay

$180,000 – $200,000 annually
