Manager, Software Engineering (Account Management)

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage engineering managers and software engineers, focusing on growth and performance
• Develop a long-term technical roadmap to support business growth
• Establish OKRs and metrics to guide team direction and measure success
• Remove roadblocks to enhance team productivity and morale
• Foster continuous improvement in engineering processes and tools
• Collaborate throughout product development for technical sustainability and risk management
• Build cross-functional relationships for project design, implementation, and maintenance

Qualifications

• 6-8+ years in software engineering, with at least 3+ years in a managerial role
• Experience with consumer-facing software and driving execution in uncertain environments
• Proficiency in backend development with technologies like Python, Kotlin, AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with web app development using React or Vue
• Strong technical judgment in architecture and engineering practices
• Hands-on experience with code and architecture to unblock deliveries and maintain quality
• Proven ability to lead and nurture high-performing engineering teams

Pay

$181,000 – $241,000 annually
