Manager Sign and Graphics Production

About the Role

FASTSIGNS #15301 is hiring a full-time Sign Production Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role involves producing high-quality signage, operating advanced equipment, and ensuring customer satisfaction through precision and creativity.

Responsibilities

• Follow layouts to place computer-cut vinyl or full-color graphic images on predetermined substrates or media.
• Prepare substrates for vinyl application, including cutting, painting, laminating, and cleaning.
• Weed excess vinyl from computer-cut images, adapting techniques based on size, vinyl type, and image complexity.
• Operate and maintain wide-format roll printers, CNC routers, laser cutters, and flatbed printers.
• Produce and fabricate ADA signage.
• Perform quality assurance measures pre- and post-production by accurately reading and interpreting work orders and proofing for errors.
• Perform finishing operations such as laminating and mounting printed pieces.
• Report inventory levels and reorder stock to the center manager or production manager.
• Clean and maintain storage areas.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in sign production preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand for long periods (4 hours or more) and lift 50 or more pounds.
• Flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back-and-forth hand motions to apply vinyl letters and graphics.
• Ability to work under pressure to produce high-volume, high-quality work.
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite, Google Suite, and production equipment front-end software.
