About the role

Trane Technologies is a world leader in creating comfortable, sustainable, and efficient climate solutions for buildings, homes, and transportation. This role involves leading service repair, upgrades/enhancements, service agreements, and installation of new equipment.

Responsibilities

  • P&L responsibility, providing monthly revenue forecasting and driving service agreement base growth.
  • Partnering with the acquisition team to provide contract pricing on parts and services.
  • Managing technician recruitment, training, and development.
  • Coordinating field service operations, invoicing, and collections.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction and managing risk in service agreements, service turnkey, and repairs work.
  • Overseeing the service coordination function to respond efficiently to customers, ensuring technicians' training and skill level is appropriately balanced.
  • Driving continuous improvement through performance management and technical product training programs.
  • Affirming margin expectations are met during sales and fulfillment activities.
  • Maximizing cash flow by ensuring invoices are generated promptly, managing expense budgets, and increasing service team utilization.
  • Improving transactional processes impacting the customer experience and increasing overall customer satisfaction.
  • Ensuring environmental, health, and safety compliance within the service team.
  • Providing training to all employees to maintain a safe and productive work environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years experience in HVAC or a related field, technical systems (or equipment or skilled trades).
  • 3+ years experience managing and coaching large teams and organizing work schedules.
  • Project management skills to oversee and drive successful project execution for startups and customer requests.
  • Tech-savvy with expertise in Microsoft applications. Salesforce experience considered an asset.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations included.

Qualifications

  • Must have a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations included.
  • Must be able to travel to customer job sites, which may include outdoor work and/or work in mechanical/equipment rooms.
  • Must be able to handle variable weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, heights, and other variable environmental conditions based on location.

Pay

Annual Base Salary Range: $90,900.00 - $189,800.00

Schedule

Monday to Thursday, work onsite with your colleagues. Fridays, choose your work location, balancing what your work requires.
