Manager/Senior Manager - Data Foundation
About the role
The Data Foundation Sales Leader is responsible for leading a team of Account Executives who sell MuleSoft and Informatica, key components of the Data Foundation, which combines MuleSoft (API-led connectivity and integration) and Informatica (enterprise data management, quality, and governance) with Salesforce Data Cloud to create a single, trusted data layer for AI.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Executives, ensuring they have the skills and resources to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Build and maintain a high-performing team culture that fosters growth and innovation.
- Align the team with the Data Foundation sales strategy and define account plans to achieve individual, team, and organizational quotas.
- Design and execute industry-specific pipeline programs to drive consistent, high-quality pipeline and revenue across multiple enterprise verticals.
- Orchestrate the ecosystem by working closely with Sales, Marketing, Pre-Sales, Partner Alliances, Services, and HR to ensure the team has everything they need to succeed.
- Maintain cross-company engagement to ensure alignment and results.
- Forecast and report on team and individual results with precision, providing accurate and candid updates to executive leadership.
- Elevate process and efficiency by identifying and implementing recommendations that improve team processes, efficiency, and productivity.
- Motivate and inspire the team to exceed objectives through coaching, regular communication of results, and creative incentives.
Requirements
Minimum requirements include:
- 3+ years of sales leadership experience developing and leading a team of seven or more quota-carrying Account Executives.
- A bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include:
- Proven ability to hire, develop, and lead high-performing teams to consistent success in complex, matrixed selling environments.
- Excellent presentation and executive engagement skills, comfortable in the boardroom and credible with CIOs, CTOs, and C-suite stakeholders.
- Experience working across Sales, Marketing, Pre-Sales, Partner Alliances, and Services to drive alignment and results.
- A natural curiosity about the evolving AI and agentic landscape, able to equip the team with the necessary knowledge to connect data and integration strategy to real-world AI outcomes.
- Strong negotiation and deal strategy skills, capable of guiding the team through complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
- A self-starter mentality, thriving in a fast-paced environment and setting the tone for the team.

Base salary range for this role varies based on location, ranging from $131,150 - $225,540 annually in the United States, with specific ranges applicable to certain locations.
