Manager/Senior Manager, Business Development- Payor Partnerships

About the role

The Manager/Senior Manager of Business Development within DaVita’s Payor Partnerships team acts as the external voice for the organization, focusing on driving growth and strategic partnerships for the Integrated Kidney Care (IKC) value-based care models. This role involves pitching these models to health plans, building relationships with payor executives, and structuring deals.

Responsibilities

• Drive IKC Growth & Partnerships: Pitch VBC models to health plans, design market engagement strategies, represent DaVita at industry events, and develop external collateral.
• Deepen Payor Relationships: Execute a sophisticated market engagement strategy, navigate complex stakeholder environments, and lead strategic analytics and deal structuring.
• Enable the Team: Enhance onboarding content, leverage CRM tools, foster cross-functional collaboration, mentor analysts, and deliver persuasive presentations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in fast-paced, deal-oriented environments such as healthcare strategy, business/corporate development, or consulting.
• Exceptional executive presence, strategic problem-solving skills, and effective communication abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
