Manager, Security Project Management

Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement multiple projects to include but not limited to cyber security, AI technology, physical security, and insider risk simultaneously through the entirety of the Project Management lifecycle
  • Complete all aspects of project planning/requirements gathering, budgeting, system implementation, testing and execution to include change/release management, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and stakeholder expectations
  • Develop and implement project strategies to ensure alignment with the firm's AI initiative which includes implementation of various technology platforms, while adhering to all goals and objectives aligned with the organization's overall vision
  • Manage a detailed project schedule and resource plan, facilitate team meetings with all stakeholders to include technical experts in our Digital Nexus organization, publish meeting notes and action items, consistently partner with project team members to complete all work in advance of key deadlines, update project documents and systems; facilitate post project/phase reviews
  • Adhere and contribute to project management standards, processes and governance, including tools and reporting
  • Communicate project status and be the project advocate; proactively monitor risks, issues, and overall project health; develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address potential challenges and escalate projects at risk to relevant stakeholders
  • Establish positive and collaborative relationships with all stakeholders and demonstrate a clear understanding of both internal and external stakeholder requirements and success criteria; integrate and align with other departmental processes and solutions
  • Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment

Qualifications

  • Minimum five years of recent, relevant project management experience in various security disciplines such as physical, personnel, and cyber security along with experience in compliance and risk management disciplines
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required or acquired academic level by working experience; PMP certification is preferred
  • Project Management experience, to include specific experience implementing IT and AI applications, using industry best practices and methodologies, including waterfall, agile and hybrid
  • Ability to manage concurrent initiatives and work streams from planning to delivery, utilizing a variety of project management tools and methodologies
  • Ability to stay abreast of the latest security regulatory requirements, technologies, controls, practices, techniques and threats
  • Prior experience with leading projects within various security disciplines, such as IT, compliance, security awareness, training, physical, personnel, insider risk and cyber security
  • Strong verbal/written communication, with ability to effectively interact with individuals at all levels of responsibility and authority
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future

The offered salary is determined based on relevant factors such as applicant's skills, job responsibilities, prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and market considerations.
