This role is responsible for leading the day-to-day physical security operations across multiple L3Harris facilities in Brevard County, FL. This position provides leadership for security personnel, contract guard services, and the Global Security Operations Center (GSOC), while ensuring compliance with corporate policies, customer requirements, and applicable government regulations. Essential Functions: Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standardsOversee access control systems, CCTV, and intrusion detection systemsDirect incident response activities and crisis management responseLead workplace violence prevention and active threat preparednessManage security technology, system upgrades, and improvement effortsPartner with Facilities, Industrial Security, HR, Legal, Ethics, and Environmental Health & SafetyBuild strong working relationships with local, state, and federal law enforcement agenciesSupport internal audits, investigations, customer assessments, and government inspectionsFoster a culture of integrity, accountability, safety, customer focus, and continuous improvementLead and develop a high-performing security team through coaching, mentoring, and performance management Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
