About the role
The Manager, Screening Solutions Specialists leads a team of specialists in a designated geographic area, promoting Exact Sciences' products to healthcare providers. This role is field-based and requires up to 75% of the time spent traveling.
Responsibilities
- Travel with direct reports to observe and provide training and coaching.
- Manage assigned area's sales targets and report progress to the management team.
- Establish and maintain communication and team operating mechanisms to ensure information sharing and collaboration.
- Ensure sales force compliance with company policies and guidelines.
- Identify and build relationships with key thought leaders and decision-makers.
- Collect and share customer insights, market trends, and competitive data with leadership and peers.
- Leverage product and technical expertise to present and discuss technology and clinical benefits.
- Manage open territories, recruit for new personnel, and delegate tasks and responsibilities.
- Lead with integrity, accountability, and courage, setting a clear vision for the team.
- Forecast and achieve quarterly and annual sales goals.
- Support and comply with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance, and work designated schedules, including nights and weekends.
- Work on a mobile device, tablet, or computer screen for approximately 60% of a typical working day.
- Travel up to 75% of the time away from the work location, including overnight and weekend travel.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing sales role in a medical, healthcare, or technical field.
- 1+ year of experience in a leadership capacity, such as training, mentoring, or champion roles.
- Valid driver's license, no more than two moving violations, events, or accidents within the last 36 months.
- No alcohol or drug-related events in the last 36 months.
- No other MVR check results that expose Exact Sciences to unacceptable liability.
- Ability to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience selling and/or leading a sales team in primary care physician office or OB/GYN practice settings.
- Experience in a sales leadership role.
- Willingness to relocate.

The annual base salary range for this position is $127,000.00 - $191,000.00, with the possibility of bonuses.
