Manager Sales Pricing Analytics
Position Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION Sales Pricing Analytics Manager is responsible for leading a team that executes and analyzes the end-to-end pricing workflow for Deviation of Policy (DOP) quotes. This role oversees daily operations, ensures timely and accurate quote processing, and implements pricing strategies that drive profitability and win rates. Sales Pricing Analytics Manager helps drive team performance, process efficiency, and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) requirements. This role partners cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Business Units, and Executive Leadership to ensure consistent execution, high-quality analysis, and continuous improvement of pricing processes.
Responsibilities
- Oversees daily workflow management and ensures requests are processed, reviewed, and approved within defined service level expectations.
- Maintains workload distribution, capacity, and pipeline health to proactively address bottlenecks.
- Acts as the escalation point for complex, high-impact, or time-sensitive deals.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for escalations, process questions, and cross-functional coordination.
- Drives process discipline, including intake quality, approval routing, tracking, and documentation standards.
- Implements and monitors Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) (e.g., volume, turnaround time, approval cycle time, backlog).
- Identifies inefficiencies and leads continuous improvement initiatives to increase speed, transparency, and scalability.
- Ensures accurate tracking, reporting, and audit readiness of all pricing activities.
- Reviews and validates pricing recommendations for margin optimization and deal competitiveness.
- PARTNERS WITH BUSINESS STAKEHOLDERS TO ALIGN ON DEAL ECONOMICS AND PRICING STRATEGIES. LEAVES DATA AND REPORTING TO IDENTIFY TRENDS, RISKS, AND OPPORTUNITIES TO IMPROVE PRICING PERFORMANCE.
- Ensures all pricing activities comply with Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) requirements and internal controls.
- Maintains audit-ready documentation and reinforces adherence to approval and documentation standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher, preferably in Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 6-10+ years of experience in pricing, analytics, finance, or operations, with prior leadership experience preferred.
- Proven experience managing workflows, teams, and high-volume processes in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of pricing strategies, margin analysis, and deal evaluation.
- Advanced proficiency with Office 365, particularly Excel; experience with reporting and tracking tools preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and operational efficiency.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving capabilities.
- Able to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and customer service skills.
