Responsibilities
- Leads a team of Shure Sales Development Specialists by establishing strategic plans to achieve and exceed annual sales quotas for all Shure product lines.
- Measures team performance to that plan using key performance indicators, coaches them on adding value to the customer experience, and embodies Shure’s Core Values.
- Directs management of key accounts, developing and executing a progressive business plan based on a strong understanding of our end-user needs that align with brand strategy.
- Develops a detailed knowledge of key accounts and maintains personal contact with key dealers. Reviews dealer programs regarding performance versus goals, identifies areas of concern and success, and proposes action plans to improve performance.
- Works closely with the Regional Sales leaders, B2B sellers, and marketing team members to build a strong sales pipeline and execute coordinated selling motions.
- Maintains territory profit margins and plans accordingly to meet or exceed division objectives.
- Develops and implements an effective schedule of sales meetings, promotional and product planning, trade shows, clinics, business meetings, and collaborative efforts cross-functionally.
- Plans and monitors budgets according to fiscal year objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales management.
- Working knowledge of the modern retail landscape in assigned territories.
- Experience with Salesforce or CRM/CSP is a plus.
- Able to lead cooperative efforts among members of project teams.
- Collaborative and consultative skills to influence others across several functional areas.
- Able to interact with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning functional areas, divisions, and/or customers.
- Shows thought leadership.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Self-motivated and organized, with excellent follow-up.
- Able to work both as part of a team and independently.
- Must be located in the New York area.
- Average 50% travel expected.
