Manager Sales Inventory Operations Planning

Responsibilities

• Leads, mentors, and manages a team, providing guidance and support to ensure individual and collective success while fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
• Develops and executes SIOP strategies to meet business objectives.
• Ensures alignment between and accuracy of sales forecasts, production schedules, and inventory levels.
• Guides the development of accurate demand forecasts by analyzing historical data, market trends, and sales patterns.
• Identifies discrepancies between actual and forecasted demand and recommends adjustments.
• Maintains optimal inventory levels by monitoring inventory levels and analyzing inventory turnover rates.
• Reduces excess inventory while preventing stockouts by identifying opportunities to optimize stock levels.
• Provides insights and recommendations to improve supply chain performance based on regular reports and dashboards of key performance metrics.
• Drives continuous improvement initiatives by identifying areas for improvement in the SIOP process and implementing best practices to enhance data accuracy, forecasting, and overall supply chain efficiency.
• Works closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, production, and supply chain, to ensure alignment on demand and supply plans.
