Key job responsibilities
- Hire and develop a high-performing team; conduct resource management and capacity planning
- Develop, execute, and inspect team strategy, goals, and action plans to achieve revenue objectives and targets
- Become a knowledgeable partner on Amazon Advertising solutions with ability to partner on agency strategy at senior leadership levels
- Support the team in educating agencies on Amazon’s ad tech offerings, performance metrics, insights, and how to achieve greater results with Amazon
- Cook up coordination across internal Amazon Ads leadership and cross-functional teams to represent agency business results and advocate for agency needs
- Obtain ongoing agency and partner feedback to assess performance against organizational objectives
- Define and scale team processes and best practices to drive consistently strong performance
Basic Qualifications
- 6+ years digital advertising experience in a customer-facing role (ad agency, ad tech partner, digital marketing, etc.)
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Minimum 3+ years people management experience
- Excellent organizational, relationship-building, and communication (written and verbal) skills
- Proven track record of delivering results (including revenue targets) and significantly contributing to advertiser and/or agency revenue growth
- Experience with influencing internal and external stakeholders
- Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers
- Able to proceed in absence of defined processes and provide input on them
- Adept at solving problems that span business and technology
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors’ or Master’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Economics, Statistics, Engineering; or equivalent; MBA is a plus
- 10+ years work experience in Advertising with experience in programmatic, media buying/planning, customer success
- Programmatic strategy, emerging AI tool adoption, and implementation experience
- Ability to make smart trade-offs and understand what will have long-lasting impact on agency business
