Key job responsibilities

  • Hire and develop a high-performing team; conduct resource management and capacity planning
  • Develop, execute, and inspect team strategy, goals, and action plans to achieve revenue objectives and targets
  • Become a knowledgeable partner on Amazon Advertising solutions with ability to partner on agency strategy at senior leadership levels
  • Support the team in educating agencies on Amazon’s ad tech offerings, performance metrics, insights, and how to achieve greater results with Amazon
  • Cook up coordination across internal Amazon Ads leadership and cross-functional teams to represent agency business results and advocate for agency needs
  • Obtain ongoing agency and partner feedback to assess performance against organizational objectives
  • Define and scale team processes and best practices to drive consistently strong performance

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years digital advertising experience in a customer-facing role (ad agency, ad tech partner, digital marketing, etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Minimum 3+ years people management experience
  • Excellent organizational, relationship-building, and communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Proven track record of delivering results (including revenue targets) and significantly contributing to advertiser and/or agency revenue growth
  • Experience with influencing internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers
  • Able to proceed in absence of defined processes and provide input on them
  • Adept at solving problems that span business and technology

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors’ or Master’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Economics, Statistics, Engineering; or equivalent; MBA is a plus
  • 10+ years work experience in Advertising with experience in programmatic, media buying/planning, customer success
  • Programmatic strategy, emerging AI tool adoption, and implementation experience
  • Ability to make smart trade-offs and understand what will have long-lasting impact on agency business
