Manager-Safety and Security

As the Manager of Safety & Security, you’ll play a critical role in creating a secure, welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff across our facilities. You’ll lead and oversee security, public safety, emergency management, and telecommunications operations while developing innovative policies, procedures, and training programs that meet the highest regulatory standards. Working closely with internal teams and external agencies, you’ll help build a culture of readiness, respond decisively when challenges arise, and ensure our organization is prepared for whatever comes next. Responsibilities

• Manage the operational, financial and personnel activities of the Safety & Security Department.
• Oversees staff development and ensures required training and certifications are maintained and documented.
• Evaluates employee performance.
• Promotes safe work performance by enforcing safety policies, implementing safety programs and training employees in safe practices.
• Manages departmental budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.
• Responsible for performance improvement activities for the Safety & Security department.
• Maintains and improves security systems including surveillance, access control, and communication tools.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is preferred
• Experience: 3+ years of Supervisory/Management experience is required
