About the role

As the Manager, Rules and Competition for the LPGA Tour, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of tournament rules and competition integrity. This includes ensuring fair play, managing disputes, and maintaining the integrity of the tournament environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all tournament rules and ensure they are applied consistently across all events.
  • Manage and resolve disputes related to tournament rules and regulations.
  • Maintain a high level of integrity in all tournament operations.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with tournament rules and regulations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance competition fairness and integrity.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in sports management, business administration, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in tournament management or a similar role.
  • Proven ability to manage complex issues and maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

  • Experience with tournament management software is preferred.
  • Knowledge of golf rules and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually.

Schedule

The Manager, Rules and Competition works a standard 40-hour week, with occasional evening and weekend work required for tournament preparation and execution.
