Manager – Rooftop @1WLO

About the role

Rooftop @1WLO is looking for an experienced, energetic, and hospitality-driven Manager to join our high-performing front-of-house team in Fort Lauderdale’s original and hottest rooftop venue. Responsibilities

• Manage daily restaurant, lounge, and nightlife operations.
• Supervise and train servers, bartenders, hosts, security, and support staff.
• Create staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage for busy nights and events.
• Monitor customer service and maintain a high-quality guest experience.
• Oversee opening, closing, cash handling, and daily financial reports.
• Manage reservations, VIP guests, private events, and special occasions.
• Coordinate with DJs, entertainers, promoters, and event vendors.
• Ensure compliance with alcohol service, health, safety, and local regulations.
• Monitor inventory of food, beverages, and supplies; reduce waste and losses.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve operational issues professionally.
• Monitor sales, labor costs, food/beverage costs, and overall profitability.
• Maintain cleanliness, ambiance, music, lighting, and overall lounge presentation.
• Coordinate with security to maintain a safe and controlled nightlife environment.
• Develop promotions and events to increase traffic, sales, and repeat business.
• Communicate with ownership/upper management regarding performance, staffing, and operational needs.
• Conduct staff meetings and provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback.
• Build relationships with regular customers, VIPs, vendors, and local partners.

• Previous serving assistance experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar preferred.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.

• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
