About the role

Oversee clinical operations on a designated unit, ensuring safe, high-quality, and whole-person care.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise nursing and ancillary staff, coordinate daily activities, and foster a culture of safety and communication.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient outcomes, handle staffing needs, and monitor care processes through data analysis.
  • Conduct rounds, resolve operational issues, and facilitate patient and family communication.
  • Manage personnel evaluations, coaching, and disciplinary actions while promoting staff development and engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, maintain unit safety, and support efficient patient throughput.
  • Build high-performing teams and set and achieve safety and quality goals.
  • Coordinate patient care activities, manage staffing and schedules, and oversee unit safety and compliance.
  • Conduct emergency preparedness reviews and perform other related duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Master’s preferred).
  • RN licensure, ACLS and BLS certifications.
  • Preferred leadership, acute care, and specialty certifications.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and proficiency in managing staff and operational processes.
