Responsibilities
- Own and drive end-to-end performance of the digital onboarding and underwriting funnel, balancing growth and risk outcomes
- Identify and unlock opportunities to expand the acquisition funnel, improve conversion, and reduce friction across customer journeys
- Apply strong risk judgment to complex scenarios while evolving underwriting strategies and policies
- Generate data-driven insights to optimize performance and influence decision-making at senior levels
- Partner with Product and Technology teams to design and deliver new capabilities, including external data integrations (e.g., bank connectivity) and enhanced customer experiences
- Translate business and risk needs into clear execution plans, features, and requirements
- Drive test-and-learn experimentation to improve funnel performance, decision accuracy, and operational efficiency
- Collaborate across Sales, Marketing, Risk, Decision Science, and Technology to deliver a seamless, unified channel experience
- Proactively manage dependencies, trade-offs, and cross-functional blockers to ensure timely delivery
- Ensure strong governance, controls, and regulatory compliance while enabling innovation
Qualifications
- 4–8 years of experience in risk management, underwriting, or financial services
- Strong understanding of commercial / corporate credit risk and underwriting fundamentals
- Proven ability to analyze data and translate insights into action
- Experience working across cross-functional teams (Product, Tech, Risk, Data, Sales)
- Strong ownership mindset and execution focus in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
