Schedule
Monday - Friday 8:15am to 5:15pm
Rotating Saturdays 8:45am to 12:15pm
Pay
$82,321.72 - $96,243.68 with a progressive benefit package.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage retail branch banking offices, including sales, service, and operations.
- Manage branch staff with functions such as HR, audit, facilities, training, and project assignments.
- Implement plans (routines, tactics, strategies) to support achievement of goals and reinforce policies and procedures to comply with business and credit priorities.
- Demonstrate teamwork in all interactions and completion of duties.
- Ensure confidentiality of member information.
- Participate in community and business functions to promote a positive image of the credit union.
- Ensure efficient operations through continuous assessment and improvements.
- Maintain compliance with Credit Union policies, procedures, and Board/management guidelines, including office equipment and facilities upkeep.
- Monitor and report branch activities in key performance areas.
- Develop and recommend annual branch performance targets for both team and individual expectations.
- Coach branches to achieve business development activities, including outside networking, in-branch selling, outbound phone selling, and targeted correspondence.
- Maximize branch loan and deposit goals, as well as referrals to branch partners (Mortgage, Commercial, Wealth Management, and Insurance).
- Train, develop, and coach a successful sales and service team by holding employees accountable, recognizing achievements, and retaining top talent.
- Conduct periodic sales and service performance reviews with branch staff and monitor activities to ensure success.
- Prepare and conduct performance evaluations and documentation for personnel files.
- Work with HR to recommend and implement disciplinary actions and staff counseling as needed.
- Coordinate, track, and monitor daily scheduling, including overtime, leave of absences, and prepare periodic reports for HR.
- Maintain attendance standards to provide team oversight, coordination, and feedback.
- Promote professional development of branch staff through individual and group training.
- Handle human resources responsibilities for supervised personnel, including hiring, termination, performance reviews, salary recommendations, and staffing assessments.
- Participate in community service organizations and credit union-sponsored events to enrich the community.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED).
- 7+ years of credit union or related experience; minimum of two years supervisory experience with demonstrated leadership and team-building skills.
- High energy with the ability to engage individuals and successfully win business.
- Thorough knowledge of products and services; ensures appropriate application of credit union policies and procedures.
- Ability to network and build relationships to grow business.
- Strong interpersonal skills to represent the credit union positively, both internally and externally.
- Accuracy and attention to detail with proficiency in oral and written communications.
- Ability to prioritize work assignments and organize efficiently to meet deadlines.
- Well-developed problem-solving skills and ability to develop conceptual alternatives.
- Ability to plan, organize, implement, and interpret programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
- Conflict resolution and mediation skills.
- Computer literacy and experience.
- Punctuality and active participation in scheduled meetings.
- Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Must be bondable.
- Must be registered pursuant to requirements of the S.A.F.E. Act.
- Adherence to all state, federal, and credit union regulations, policies, and guidelines.
This position reports to the Director Retail Branches and is responsible for the supervision of others.
