Manager - Respiratory Therapy, Days

Responsibilities

• Leads and manages the provision of respiratory services in ambulatory pulmonology setting.
• Directs, monitors and manages all day-to-day operations of the departments, including staffing, scheduling, workload prioritization, cost management, and equipment utilization / maintenance.
• Creates an efficient, accountable, and collaborative team environment with staff and with physicians.
• Is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and quality are followed and maintained.

Qualifications

• Education: Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy Required
• Work Experience: 3 years with two (2) years of experience recent clinical experience in area of clinical responsibility.
• Licenses and Certifications: RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist, Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC); has and maintains a current licensure as a Respiratory Care Professional in the state of Georgia, Required BCLS - Basic Life Support, Required ACLS, Required PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support.
