MANAGER RESIDENTIAL OPERATIONS- QDIP

Lead a residential team in delivering person-centered care and services to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and AbleLight standards.

Responsibilities

• Talent, Leadership & Results (60%)
  • Develop, empower, and recognize team members to foster a high-engagement, inclusive environment where everyone can thrive.
  • Partner with HR, quality, nursing, and operational leaders to onboard, train, and mentor new staff; identify ongoing training needs through Quarterly Connections.
  • Model positive leadership behaviors and align team efforts with organizational goals.
• Program Leadership (25%)
  • Ensure consistent implementation of AbleLight operating procedures and compliance with state/local regulations across assigned homes.
  • Serve as the escalation point for DSPs, individuals supported, parents, or guardians when local resolution efforts are unsuccessful.
  • Propose and drive quality and process improvements for staff and individuals served.
  • Complete all required training per local, state, federal, and AbleLight policies.
  • Maintain collaborative partnerships with colleagues, leadership, individuals supported, and families, focusing on budget and metrics to grow residential services and achieve balanced scorecard results.
• Person-Centered Care and Services (15%)
  • Deliver care and services aligned with individualized plans developed in collaboration with the person supported, families, clinical providers, and internal partners (nursing, quality, operations).
  • Fully leverage health information and HR technology to ensure timely, comprehensive, and objective documentation.

Requirements

• Education: Meet federal QIDP requirements (42 CFR 483.430) with documentation. Degrees in:
  • Human Service Field
  • Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy
  • Registered Nurse
  • Occupational Therapist or Assistant
  • Physical Therapist or Assistant
  • Psychologist
  • Social Worker
  • Speech-Language Pathologist or Audiologist
  • Professional Recreation Staff
  • Professional Dietician
  • Human Services Professional
• Experience: Meet federal QIDP requirements (42 CFR 483.430) with documentation of at least one year of direct experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Travel/Flexibility: Ability to adapt hours and work across residential settings in your local community to support colleagues and individuals served.
