Manager Research Operations
About the role
The Manager of Research Operations at St. Joseph Hospital & Medical Center is responsible for managing and supervising clinical research staff, ensuring the successful and timely completion of clinical trials and full compliance with all relevant regulations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and monitoring all clinical research operational activities, managing trials according to regulations and ICH-GCP guidelines.
- Aiding in the planning, performance, and management of all clinical trials in compliance with applicable regulations, ICH-GCP guidelines, and internal policies.
- Assisting with research approvals, overseeing study budgets, managing enrollment/performance, forecasting resources, and developing/standardizing clinical research policies and procedures.
- Organizing clinical research staff orientation and education offerings, and developing standardized working instructions across all programs.
- Maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate exceptional leadership in clinical research, expertise in regulatory compliance, and a proven ability to manage complex resources and processes to ensure high-quality, compliant trial execution.
Required qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and job-related experience.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of clinical research experience with a minimum of five (5) years of clinical research management.

Pay
The posted compensation range for this position is $47.41 - $70.52 per hour, reflecting the lowest and highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
Schedule
This position requires a weekly schedule of Monday - Friday (8:00am - 5:00pm) and occasional travel of up to 10% of the time.
