Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Knowledge of operations for a hospital-based Radiation Oncology Center; including clinical, clerical, and financial functionsKnowledge of marketing for a freestanding radiation oncology centerEffective public speaking skills with the ability to articulate complex information in understandable termsStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to communicate clearly with all levels of staff within the department, physicians, hospital administration, and patientsAbility to work in a matrix-management environment to achieve campus as well as institutional goalsComputer proficiency, particularly in Aria; Microsoft Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; and internet searchesProject planning management skillsLeadership and supervisory skillsKnowledge of anatomical structures for localizationTechnical skills to accomplish the treatment plan proposed by the Radiation OncologistAbility to think and respond clearly and quickly in high pressure/high volume environmentsAbility to work as a team member with peers, staff, patients, physicians, managers, and administrationAbility to collaborate with multi-disciplinary healthcare providersLeadership ability, diplomacy, process improvement knowledgeAbility to read and understand financial reports and facilitate cost management processAbility to work independently with minimal directionScheduling and Training of Staff Education Associate [Required]Bachelor's [Preferred] Field Of Study in business or healthcare administration, or in other relevant business or health-care discipline Work Experience 5+ years relevant clinical or leadership experience in management of health care programs and/or outpatient services.
