Manager - Quality Control

About the Role

As the Manager of Quality Control, you will manage the inspection and testing of materials, parts, and products to ensure adherence to quality standards. You will propose corrective actions to improve compliance with quality specifications, recommend new or improved quality control methods, procedures, and standards, and direct the activity of the quality department to meet customer requirements and business plans.

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute the Quality Management System.
• Direct the activities of the quality department.
• Manage a corrective action process to address quality issues.
• Lead communication with customers to resolve questions and define corrective actions.
• Develop plans for the Quality Management System to expand and support business growth.
• Report the performance of the operation using statistical processes.
• Devise ways to continually improve the quality control process to ensure higher-quality goods.
• Keep accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis.
• Validate quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes; measuring production; documenting evidence; determining operational and performance qualification; writing and updating quality assurance procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 3 years required, 5 years preferred of related work experience.
• 1 year required, 3 years preferred of supervisory experience.
• In-depth knowledge of quality control procedures and legal standards.
• Strong attention to detail, observation, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of mathematics, data analysis, and statistical methods.
• Ability to organize and coordinate schedules.
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex data.
• Ability to calibrate precise measurements.
• Ability to problem-solve.
• Ability to communicate with the public.
• Ability to manage other employees.
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Pay

$93,937 - $126,815 annually. This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, skills, shift, or any collective bargaining agreements.
