Manager Quality

Job Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains quality management system to ensure highest quality parts reach our customers.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to build and uphold effective system and related processes.
• Leads high-performing quality team.
• Trains and guides new hires and current employees.
• Creates and maintains strong relationships with customers and suppliers, ensuring expectations are met consistently.
• Performs quality, supplier, process, and other audits as required.
• Defines and executes quality departmental objectives.
• Makes product quality through audits, returns, inspections, cost reports, and customer scorecards.
• Performs root cause failure analyses and communicates resolution to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Maintains an effective corrective and preventative action plan to ensure continuous improvement in quality metrics.
• Completes other projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, quality, or related field, or equivalent education and/or experience.
• AQSC Certification preferred.
• Seven years of experience in quality or related.
• Manufacturing background required.
• Demonstrated success in leadership positions.
