The MANAGER, QUALITY ASSURANCE is responsible for overseeing global quality systems to ensure product safety, performance, and consumer satisfaction as the portfolio expands. This role supports product testing, packaging validation, supplier quality, non-conformance investigations, and continuous improvement efforts. It collaborates with cross-functional teams to maintain high standards for quality and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee quality management system and ensure compliance with quality control requirements
- Write and maintain SOPs, policies, and manage quality documentation
- Maintain product information files and quality records
- Train teams on quality standards
- Lead quality reviews, audits, and FDA inspection preparations
- Manage product testing programs for new launches
- Coordinate external lab relationships and testing processes
- Establish and enforce acceptance quality limits (AQL)
- Review and approve certificates of analysis and batch records
- Approve production samples and manage quality holds
- Conduct line trials and manage quality gates in new product development
- Manage third-party inspections and sampling plans
- Support packaging development and technical validation
- Oversee packaging testing and finished goods specifications
- Manage supplier quality programs, audits, and performance evaluations
