Manager Quality Assurance

What You’ll Do

• Develop, administer, and oversee Star’s Quality Control Plan for telecommunications construction projects, ensuring that all employees are following corporate lead quality standards.
• Review customer OSP construction procedures to guarantee all deliverables are met per customer requirements.
• Develop a balanced scorecard of metrics to drive continuous improvement of telecommunications construction practices across the company.
• Implement effective and timely preventive and corrective action plans to ensure the recurrence of quality problems is eliminated.
• Maintain and update telecommunications construction procedures documentation and communicate changes to subsidiary construction and quality leaders as needed.
• Support and participate in all internal quality and customer requested field audits.

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 5 years of related work experience
• Strong knowledge of equipment and practices related to the telecom industry
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers, quality inspectors, project managers and subcontractors
• Ability to monitor and inspect work conducted by Star and our subcontractors
• Proven to be self-motivated, resourceful, organized, and able to be involved in multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience independently overseeing, creating, and/or managing projects
• Experience in interfacing and training an audience at varying levels
• Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills
• Willingness to travel
