About the role
You will build and lead a team of quality engineers in an agile environment to drive built-in quality in our software applications. As a technical leader, you will drive the adoption of best technologies and practices to test new functionality, enabling rapid delivery of value to customers. You will collaborate with product owners, scrum masters, and technical leaders to ensure well-defined and testable feature definitions, while improving quality metrics and KPIs for the Performance Engineering Suite of products.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of quality engineers in an Agile environment.
- Drive adoption of best technologies and practices for software testing.
- Collaborate with product owners, scrum masters, and technical leaders to define testable features.
- Improve quality metrics and KPIs for the Performance Engineering Suite.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 5+ years of professional software testing experience.
- Experience leading teams of quality engineers in an Agile environment.
- Experience testing software systems using a variety of languages (C# and C++ a plus).
- Experience developing software behavior tests using Gherkin.
- Good understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
Pay
The salary range for this role is $127,000.00 - $158,700.00. This range may be adjusted based on several factors. The role is also eligible for bonus or variable incentive pay.
