Position Purpose

The Manager, Projects in the Lead Capability supervises and supports the Fixed Market pillar. This role provides oversight and guidance for project assignments and work with other Competency leaders to ensure the appropriate staffing of projects across Bands. The Manager is accountable for consistent, high-quality project delivery and must demonstrate a proven track record of successful project delivery - on time, within scope, and on budget.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor project performance within the team and provide feedback/coaching to ensure successful project delivery on time, within scope, and on budget
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships, providing mentorship and guidance
  • Be a consistent presence, building and supporting the team to empower their successful delivery of projects
  • Administer annual performance review process
  • Provide feedback to employees to improve individual and team performance
  • Cascade organization process/procedure/direction clearly and consistently
  • Work with Market Leaders and across competencies to develop and implement standardized workflows, tools, and processes to optimize project efficiency and consistency
  • Administer timesheets and keep track of OOO requests ensuring project coverage
  • Work with project leads and cross-Competency Managers to ensure project needs are met
  • Receive and direct team escalations to resolution in a timely and effective manner
  • Work within and across Competencies to raise and address project issues proactively
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and delivery standards

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience, including significant experience in Entertainment, Theatre, Theme Park, Location Based Entertainment, Marketing or Project or Construction Management
  • 3+ years of experience leading project teams or managing individuals, preferred
  • Proven leadership capability with a track record of driving accountability and results
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and project teams simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with team members, stakeholders and clients (verbal and written)
  • Ability to travel and work across multiple sites or client locations as needed
  • Familiarity with software systems such as MS Office, Box, SharePoint, Slack, Asana, Airtable, Epicor, SAP, Salesforce, Zendesk, Power BI, Tableau, Provus, Kantata

Schedule

Regular office hours, with occasional travel and remote work as needed.
